It’s works really well with round knobs. In fact my 16 month old just spins it hours at a time. However, if you have an oval shaped knob it will not work 100% of the time. If your kid spins it just right it will catch and open an oval knob. Haven’t had any issues on round knobs. It’s Durable yet easy to open simply by depressing the two rubber finger dips simultaneously. It’s an affordable option that doesn’t take away from the functionality of the door.

Our toddler recently learned how to open doors using the knob so we ordered this to keep her from opening her bedroom door. This arrived quickly, was very easy to install and she can’t turn the doorknob on her door!

Before I got these, I had to chase my 2 around outside multiple times a day. It was great exercise, but a problem. He was quick to open the door and run outside. He's been safe inside since I ordered these (unless we go outside together obviously). They work so well. It took my 6 year old a while to learn how to open them.

They are way easier to put on than to take off.
