I tried another product and it was too small. This is obnoxiously large since it's not the intended use, but it works! My 2 year old figured out how to unlock the dishwasher controls so we needed something to cover the button. Hopefully she doesn't figure out how to open it. 🤞

Not sure how it works on stoves but I used this to cover up the power button and headphone usb on my husbands computer and it works great!

This caps solved my knob problem. My stove can’t be upgraded to get a gas lock cover and the knobs are so soft to open that if you push past them with your hip they release gas. I got so scared that my cleaning lady did that with the oven knob and the gas was releasing for almost an hour. But nothing happened! So I tried to measure my knobs exactly as the guide says but I overlooked that the space between the centers of the knob had to be AT LEAST 4”, mine are less than that so I installed only 3 to prevent the disaster that I had. The adhesive rings are one-use only. The good part is that the oven knob has lots of space and this product works perfectly, I will no longer worry as hell if my apartment will blow!

One tip: if the knobs are a little bit too close (preventing from squeezing the sides), you can install them sideways and have them open left/right
Also, the other tip I read for using the hair dryer to remove the adhesive works very well. I'd installed one of them the wrong way, and using the hair dryer I could get the adhesive off cleanly with no problems.
